The personal secretary of King Louis XIV, Phelippeau de Pontchartrain, acquired these hunting estate located near the forests of the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud and with excellent land for vineyards. The domain recently celebrated its 350th anniversary and is reinforced with modern facilities which allow them to diversify the methods of winemaking and to enhance this magnificent terroir.
