The personal secretary of King Louis XIV, Phelippeau de Pontchartrain, acquired these hunting estate located near the forests of the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud and with excellent land for vineyards.
The domain recently celebrated its 350th anniversary and is reinforced with modern facilities which allow them to diversify the methods of winemaking and to enhance this magnificent terroir.

Tasting notes
A Cabernet Franc of a beautiful ruby appearance, a rich and pleasant nose with fruit, and a forthright initial impression supported by silky tannins.
Very popular in restaurants, because it can be served with slightly spicy fish as well as meat or light dishes.
