Tasting notes

This is a tight wine, with a real tannic structure and good aromatic persistence. The wine is fruity, spicy and woody, which is normal for this wine at this stage of ageing. The attack is supple, evolving on ripe fruit with a freshness that could be described as mineral, very characteristic of this terroir. While 2011, our first vintage, was full of charm, with this 2012 we have produced a serious wine. This very small production augurs well for a great Saint-Emilion.
