« A firm and very silky red with plum and chocolate character throughout. Full-bodied, velvety and chewy with a beautiful and intense finish. Shows intensity and panache for the second wine of Château Beauregard. » – James Suckling
The second wine of Château Beauregard, Benjamin de Beauregard is made from a strict selection of plots in sandier soils. It benefits from the same ultra-modern facilities as its big brother, but the vinification process has been adapted: moderate extraction, shorter vatting time. Barrel ageing is shorter, with a maximum of 30% new oak. Benjamin de Beauregard is designed for immediate enjoyment between 3 and 10 years.
