Château Barrabaque Tradition New Label

Red

A wine making property since the 18th century, Château Barrabaque has belonged to the Noël family since 1936.
An exceptional terroir: in the Fronsac and Canon-Fronsac wine regions, close to Pomerol and Saint-Emilion, the Château produces some of the great Bordeaux wines, mostly Merlot.

VINES On clay-limestone soil facing due south and siliceous clay at the bottom of the hillside. The operation of the vineyard is precise, traditional and considerate.
HARVEST Careful sorting of the grape harvest after destemming.
ŒNOLOGIST Caroline Noël-Barroux succeeded Nicole Noël, her mother, in 2004.
VINIFICATION Fermentation in temperature-controlled cement vats with a maceration of at least 3 weeks.
AGEING 12 to 15 months in French oak barrels
