This rosé, which comes from 20-25 year old vines of Pineau d’Aunis, will surprise you with its lightly peppery taste.
A true curator of the ampelographic heritage of the Vendômois, Patrice Colin heads this domain. The origin of the agricultural farm dates back to 1735. The estate today has 28 hectares of vines including 10 hectares in Pineau d’Aunis, 10 hectares in Chenin, 2.5 hectares of Pinot Noir, 2 hectares of Cabernet Franc, 2 hectares of Gamay and 1.5 hectares of Chardonnay.
The originality is brought by the Loire Valley flints and the clay-limestone subsoil. In addition the vineyard, being located in the contours of the Loire, benefits from a very favourable micro-climate with little rain and ideal sunshine thanks to a superb exposure.
