Château Grand Bert
Red
It is at a place called « Bert », located south of the Saint-Emilion appellation, that we discover the Château Grand du Bert.
11 hectares of vines surround a pretty 15th century residence and its dovecote, both of which look unto the famous bell tower of the village of Saint-Emilion. Listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the Saint-Emilion vineyard produces a wine that the English have nicknamed « the king of wines ». The Chateau has belonged for 7 generations to the Poitevin Lavigne family.
« Our wine is the fruit of a harmony between culture, winemaking, maturation and the art of the winemaker. »
