Tasting notes

Bright red colour with purple tones. Aromas of black fruits enhanced with woody and toasted notes. The initial impression upon tasting is powerful and pleasant. The tannins are fine and bring a nice texture to the wine.

The property has belonged to the Dubois family for nine generations. Forefather, François Dubois, planted his first vines on the heights of the Reignac de Blaye three centuries ago.
Different plots occupy plains and slopes ideally exposed to the midday and setting sun.
The family has practiced sustainable viticulture since 1996.

A weather station ensures daily monitoring in the heart of the vineyard, resulting in prevention of attacks in the vineyard, and thus minimising any treatment of the vines.
All of the care of the vines such as pruning, grassing the rows, trellising, and green harvesting, combine to harvest the grapes at the optimum of their maturity.
